Can Top Panel connect with
factory built-in car audio system (an existing head unit)

Yes, you can and you will got
a good result.
That's because now the OEM head units that come with new
cars, mostly have a built-in power amplifier that can reponse
wide range of frequency between 20 - 20,000 Hz. So when
you install Top Panel with a Hi-Power Head unit, instantly
you have a complete system. Why? Because Top Panel system
has no power loss thus, the Hi-Power can powered the Top
Panel sufficiently without the need of a power amplifier.
But if you want to setup a "Bi-Amp" system just put a cross-over
built-in power amplifier to powered a sub-woofer and leave
the Hi-Power drive front/rear speaker set. This way you
will easily get excellence sound quality just like a full
Bi-Amp system.

Top Panel system is 2way speaker with built-in passive cross-over 50 watt RMS ,frequency response at 100 Hz-20KHz ,92DB S/N ratio, 4ohms impedance and we will produce 2ohms model in the future.

No, because Top Panel system intend to keep the original car condition. If you want to sell the car or stop using Top Panel, just remove it and install the original pillar back to your car. Return to top

What materials are use to built Top Panel? |
|
Top Panel's frame make from 2types of material. In popular car model will be using plastic injection mould. Another material is fiber glass for less quentity model. Both plastic and fiber are light ,easy to install and don't have awkward smell in the car.

|
Top Panel has 2 type of decoration, leather covered and color-painted. We have both a good grade leather and vinyl, the colors are black,light Grey,Dark Grey and Cream. For color-painted models, we can paint several color to fit with the interior of the car or depend on customer's order.

How much i have to pay? |

Start at 6,800 baht( around 170$) , you will get 2 piece of Top panel system ( left and right ). very competent compare to ordinary 2way speaker, but Top Panel have include mounting panel and have better sound dimention than other installation methods.

Top Panel system use small speaker drivers, can it produce enough bass? |
|
If we mount the speaker at the right position and direction, then use nearest distance to the ear with no power loss. The speaker driver do not have to produce loud noise, it can give the low frequency response even down to 80Hz. (For example : The speakers that use in walk-man system is smaller than normal tweeter but why can it give solid bass feeling, that's because it is nearest and directed to the ear.)

Where is the best position for listen to Top Panel? |
|
Actually all position is the best position, because Top Panel has been design for your ear not for your legs cover upper part of your body this way you can sit in the car and enjoy the music. Not have to lay down on the floor to get best sound dimension like another installation methods.

Can Top Panel use with another system (kickpanel) or my existing system? |
|
Yes, when we bridge Top Panel to another system, the impedance reduce so result in power gain,normally the amplifier have to work harder but the Top Panel system has the right direction and position that's giving more
sound power so we have to put the volume down to get the same loudness. What we have is better sound dimension while we don't have to stress the amplifier. I just want to suggest that if you have existing system, not just kickpanel only connect Top Panel system into, together it will give better sound dimension for sure.

Can we mount only tweeter in Top Panel system?
|
|
No, because the midrange sound will be lost,
you will hear mostly high frequency sound which is unenjoyable. The sound stage collapse because both sound not coming to your ear at the same time. The seperation of midrange driver and tweeter is not recommend by us.

What audio style that suit with Top Panel ? Can it use with car theatre system? |

Top panel system can use with all style of car audio system.
I think when the speaker is at right direction no matter what signals we put in, should get good response for all. So what ever the system is, Top Panel can fit in with no problem.

Top Panel system mount at two bottom corners of front mirror, is it reduce driving visibility? |
|
No, I think the registration pad or some stickers at the edge of the mirror may reduce more driving visibility than Top panel. Return to top

How is the Top Panel system better than other system? |
|
In existing or other car audio system the
midrange driver and tweeter will be seperate mounted. The
midrange driver mounted at the bottom of door panel or at
kick panel while the tweeter mounted at dashboard or upper
side door panel.
The sound from two origin differ in
term of distance and direction, the ear doesn't hear all sound
frequency so though the sound dimension.
But The Top panel system have mid-range driver and tweeter
in same direction response the frequency between 100Hz-20,000Hz
( cutoff at 3,000Hz ) which cover all the human ear hearing
ability, mount it at the right position ( same level as the
ear or the head ). Those will make us hearing all of the clear
sound frequency,with no loss of any frequency band and no
delay.
When the direction is right we will
hear better sound stage and got better sound quality then
using less driving power from amplifier, because Top Panel
has right position and closest direction so power loss is
not happen while other systems have to use more power because
it has soundpower lose before sound wave can travel to the
ear.
